Enrollment and teachers
The most recent federal count, from the NCES directory for the 2023-24 school year, is 713 students and 64 full-time-equivalent teachers, about 11.1 students per teacher. The state’s 2025-26 report card counts 46 teacher FTEs at the school.
The district says every Bramlett student takes music, art, physical education and library time, each classroom has a Promethean board and each student has an iPad, and 30 staff members hold advanced degrees and 10 are National Board Certified, according to its schools page.
State report card
Bramlett earned an A for 2025-26, with 480 of 700 possible points, in the Mississippi Department of Education’s results file, released Oct. 15, 2026. An elementary school needed 457 points for an A this year.
From the same file and the school’s report card:
| Measure, 2025-26 | Bramlett Elementary |
|---|---|
| Reading proficiency | 72.7% |
| Math proficiency | 83.3% |
| Reading growth, all students | 73.0% |
| Math growth, all students | 71.7% |
| Chronically absent students | 11.8% |
The state’s file gives the Oxford Early Childhood Center exactly the same grade, points and test figures as Bramlett. Bramlett has no science score; for schools that do not test science, the state equates the score to the 700-point scale, according to the file’s notes.
Mississippi grades every school and district from A to F, counting test scores, how much students improve from one year to the next, with extra weight on the lowest-performing 25% of students, and English learners’ progress, according to its guide to the system (PDF). Because the writing part of the English test was field tested in 2026, the state calculated this year’s grades from the higher of the 2025-26 or 2024-25 English results. The state says 2025-26 grades set a new baseline that “cannot be compared to grades for previous school years.”
Attendance zone
The Oxford School District has no attendance zones inside its boundary: it runs one school for each grade band, so every district kindergartner and first grader is assigned to Bramlett. From here students move to Della Davidson Elementary (grades 2 and 3), Central Elementary (4 and 5), Oxford Intermediate (6), Oxford Middle (7 and 8) and Oxford High.
The district’s boundary does not follow the city limits. Its boundaries page has a map and says it “should not be considered official confirmation of school assignment or district boundaries”; it asks families to confirm a property with the Lafayette County Tax Assessor at 662-234-5562. Homes outside the boundary are in the Lafayette County School District, whose school for these grades is Lafayette Elementary. We found no boundary change approved by the school board.
