All 11 public schools in Oxford, in two districts: address, grades, enrollment and the state's 2025-26 A-F grade for each, plus private schools.
Last checked Oct. 16, 2026. Sources: the Oxford School District and Lafayette County School District websites, the Mississippi Department of Education’s 2026 accountability results, released Oct. 15, 2026, and the federal NCES public and private school directories.
Two public school districts run schools with Oxford addresses. The Oxford School District has seven schools, one for each grade band from pre-K through 12th grade, and covers most of the city. The Lafayette County School District has four schools, most on its Commodore Drive campus, and serves the rest of Lafayette County, including some land inside the city limits.
Neither district’s boundary follows the city limits, and neither draws attendance zones inside its boundary: every child in a grade goes to the same school. The question is which district a home is in. The Oxford School District’s boundaries page has a map, the county district has a boundaries map (PDF), and both point families to the Lafayette County Tax Assessor to confirm a property.
