Bakeries in Oxford: donuts, cakes and bread from Van Buren to Sisk

Oxford’s bakeries are spread out. Bottletree Bakery is on Van Buren Avenue near the Square and Donut Distillery is on Jackson Avenue East. University Avenue has Bremma’s and Community Donuts, Ollie’s is on South Lamar, and the cake shops Just Cake It! and Nothing Bundt Cakes are on Jackson Avenue West and Sisk Avenue.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Oxford’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 16, 2026. We added Bremma’s and Just Cake It! from Visit Oxford’s dining directory and their own sites. Where a place has no website, or its page would not load, a recent record in the state health department’s food facility search confirms it is operating. We left off Sunday Bagels, which has no website or state record we could find, and grocery store bakeries. Cookie shops are on our ice cream and desserts list. The list is alphabetical. Bottletree Bakery has no website we could find. Visit Oxford describes scratch-made European-style breads, pastries and specialty coffee in an art-filled room. A March 5, 2026, state inspection confirms it is operating.

Bremma’s Cakery & Confections is a local bakery run by Brooke and Emma, its site says, with cheesecakes, bundt cakes, cupcakes and wedding cakes baked from scratch. It asks customers to call ahead to order.

Community Donuts on University Avenue has no website we could find. Visit Oxford says it opened in November 2019 and serves donuts and breakfast items. A Dec. 2, 2025, state inspection confirms it is operating.

Donut Distillery makes its donuts to order and, unlike the chain’s other shops, has a rooftop bar, Donut Rooftop, its site says. It takes pickup orders online.

Just Cake It! on Jackson Avenue West makes sheet cakes and celebration cakes and sells grab-and-go cupcakes and slices. Its site gives the Tuesday to Friday opening time with a p.m. typo; we list it as 11 a.m.

Nothing Bundt Cakes is the bundt cake chain’s Oxford bakery on Sisk Avenue. Its store page would not load for us; a Feb. 5, 2026, state inspection confirms it is operating.

Ollie’s Donuts of Oxford on South Lamar has no website we could find. An April 16, 2026, state inspection confirms it is operating.
