How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Oxford’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 16, 2026. We added Crumbl, Dairy Queen, Gordo’s, The Oxford Creamery, Sno Biz, Yoby and The Yogurt Shop from Visit Oxford’s dining directory and the state health department’s food facility search. Where a place has no website, or its page would not load, a 2026 state inspection confirms it is operating. Donut and cake shops are on our bakeries list. We left off Marble Slab Creamery, which has no state record, and Great American Cookies and Sweet Magnolia Gelato, with no state inspection in the past year. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Run one of these places? Write to us to correct your entry.
