Every Oxford where-to-eat list in one place: wings, pizza, Mexican, breakfast and coffee, burgers, Asian, desserts, bakeries and patios.
Last checked Oct. 16, 2026. Refreshed every three months.
These are our plain lists of places to eat in Oxford, one per kind of food. Each is alphabetical, gives the address, the hours the restaurant itself publishes and a phone number, and links to the restaurant’s own site. None of them is a ranking, and nobody pays to be on them.
How we made these lists. Every list starts from OpenStreetMap records inside Oxford’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, plus Visit Oxford’s dining directory. We checked each place against its own website. A place with no website stays on a list only if a recent inspection in the state health department’s food facility search shows it is operating. Places on the Ole Miss campus and in Taylor are outside the city limits and are not included. Run a restaurant? Write to us to correct an entry.
Before you go. Hours change. Some restaurants say on their sites that hours shift on holidays, busy weekends and for private events, and City Grocery opens reservations for football, graduation and Double Decker weekends exactly 30 days out. Where a restaurant does not post hours on its own site, our lists say so instead of borrowing hours from a third-party listing, so call ahead.

Patios and outdoor dining. Twelve restaurants whose own sites mention a patio, porch, balcony or rooftop, many of them on or near the Square.
Barbecue. We have not published a barbecue list yet.
